Lemon Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. lemon jello
3 c. hot water
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (reserve juice)
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 bananas, cubed
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 pt. whipping cream
shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in 3 cups hot water.
Cool.
Add drained pineapple, bananas and marshmallows.
Chill in 9 x 12-inch flat dish until firm.
Heat pineapple juice in top of double boiler. Add flour and sugar to beaten egg.
Mix with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Cool.
Fold into whipped cream. Spread over gelatin.
Sprinkle cheese generously over all.
Keep in refrigerator.
