Quick Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can applesauce (2 c.)
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat, cut into 8 slices
    1 (No. 2) can sweet potatoes (3 c.)
    1/2 c. apricot jam
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine applesauce and ginger.
    Spread in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Lightly score meat slices and stud with cloves.
    Put potatoes and meat on applesauce.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Spread over meat and potatoes.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
