Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick margarine in a skillet and saute onions.
    Add next 7 ingredients and mix well.
    Have frozen hash browns thawed out some; mix well and pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Mix the melted margarine and corn flakes.
    Pat into crust over the potatoes during the last 10 minutes of baking.
