Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Mix and cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Mix alternately with milk.
Add flavoring last.
Start in cold oven.
Set at 350\u00b0.
Cook 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Do not open oven door during this time.
