Ingredients

2/3 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. mandarin juice
1/3 tsp. baking soda
6 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. mandarin peel, chopped
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter, beat in egg.
Add mandarin juice and peel, mix thoroughly.
Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder together, add to butter mixture.
Drop batter from a teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 minutes.
Frost with Mandarin Icing.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.
