Blond Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 unbeaten egg
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    Melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat.
    Add brown sugar; mix thoroughly.
    Stir in unbeaten egg, egg yolk and vanilla.
    Add gradually, dry ingredients and
    chopped nuts; mix well.
    Spread batter in a well-greased (bottom only) 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Top with chocolate chips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
