Yugoslavian Pecan Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 2 c. flour
    1 envelope active dry yeast
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast and salt.
    With pastry blender or 2 knives cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Stir in egg yolks and sour cream; mix well. Gather in ball.
    On lightly floured surface knead until smooth, 8 to 10 minutes.
    Divide in thirds.
