Down South Barbecue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, sliced
    4 to 5 lb. pork roast or fresh picnic ham
    5 to 6 cloves
    2 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Put 1/2 of the onions in the bottom of a crock-pot.
    Add the meat and the other ingredients (except barbecue sauce) with the remaining onion on top.
    Cover and cook overnight or 8 to 12 hours on low.
    Remove bone, fat and liquid.
    Add barbecue sauce and mix well.
    Cook on low for an additional 3 to 5 hours.
    Serve from crock-pot on large buns.
