Diane Fritts' Wonderful White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
    Alternate adding milk and flour mixture to creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla extract and mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0. Makes 40 cupcakes.
