Almond Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (half butter)
    1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. ground almonds
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar and almonds.
    Sift flour and salt together and work in.
    Chill dough.
    Roll with hands pencil thick.
    Cut in 2 1/2-inch lengths.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 14 to 16 minutes until set.
    While warm, dip in 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
