Picante Meat Loaf(Student Favorite) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked), bread or cracker crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 to 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    1 c. picante sauce
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients together.
    Form into a loaf and place into a lightly greased baking dish.
    Top with a little more picante sauce and grated cheese.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
    Serves 6 to 8.
