Black-Eyed Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium chopped onion
2 Tbsp. finely chopped jalapenos
2 c. chopped tomatoes (I prefer fresh)
1 clove garlic, minced
pinch of salt and pepper
3 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes or 2 tsp.
4 (15 1/2 oz.) cans black-eyed peas
3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Saute bacon and onion.
Add rest of ingredients.
Gently simmer until cheese is melted.
