Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 carrot, grated
    1 green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out juice. Add carrot and pepper (chopped fine).
    While cabbage is standing, make syrup of vinegar, water and sugar.
    Add celery and mustard seed.
    Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
    Let stand until lukewarm. Pour over cabbage mixture; place in freezer containers (can be frozen several times).
