Son'S Favorite Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
    6 large carrots, sliced and precooked to semi-tenderness
    1 lb. hamburger, cooked
    1 qt. tomatoes (chunks)
    1 large chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice 3 of the potatoes in bottom of a large casserole.
    Add 1/2 of the sliced carrots.
    The third layer is 1/2 of the hamburger.
    On top of this, add 1/2 of the onions.
    Each layer should be seasoned lightly.
    Spoon half of the tomatoes on this and repeat layers, ending with tomatoes on top.
    Be sure your casserole is large enough because it will prevent boiling over as the juices from the vegetables and the meat accumulate.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven 2 hours.
    Casserole is done when your fork pierces the carrots and potatoes easily.
