5-Hour Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 slice bread, broken into pieces
    1 c. celery, cut in pieces
    1 pkg. carrots, sliced thick
    2 small onions
    5 or 6 medium potatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients gently; place in a Dutch oven pan.
    Cover tightly.
    Bake 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
