Peanut Brittle(Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts (about)
    1 level tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put sugar, syrup and water in a large pan and bring to a boil until it strings.
    Add peanuts and cook until it starts to turn light brown.
    Then add soda and stir.
    Pour into buttered pan and cool.
    Break into pieces.
