Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream or 1 c. buttermilk with 2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
Beat eggs and add sour cream.
Add egg and cream mixture to dry ingredients.
Add boiling water and stir until just moistened.
Pour batter into 8 x 8 x 2-inch greased baking pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until bread top is golden brown and springs back to the touch.
