Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    6 medium potatoes, boiled in skins, peeled and grated
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. dairy sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. finely chopped green onion tops
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Heat butter and soup in a large saucepan.
    Add potatoes, cheese and sour cream.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Stir gently.
    Pour into a greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
    (May be frozen at this point.)
    Top with green onions.
    Bake 45 to 55 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
