Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peeled, sliced apples
    1/3 to 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. regular or quick cooking oats
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. butter, softened
    whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Place apples in a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Combine remaining ingredients except whipped cream; mix until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
    Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.
    Yields 2 servings.
