Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. mace

Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift the flour and mace together and add to butter mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Pour in a greased tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
