Tom Hutchins' Texas Millionaires - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. red label Karo
2 sticks margarine or butter
2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 lb. pecan halves
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except one cup of milk.
Stir well.
Let come to a good boil, stirring constantly.
Add the other cup of milk slowly; do not stop boil.
Cook until it forms a soft ball (this takes a long time).
Add pecan halves and beat until thick. Drop by teaspoon on greased pan.
Let stand until firm.
Stick toothpick in fondant and dip in chocolate mix.
Set on wax paper to cool.
