Vegetarian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. each: onions, celery and carrots, chopped
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3 cloves garlic or garlic salt
    3/4 c. Grape-Nuts cereal
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian stewed tomatoes
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 to 1/2 c. water (more if needed)
Preparation
    Cook chopped onion, celery and carrots in olive oil until tender.
    Add oregano, pepper and garlic (crushed) and cook for 1 minute more. Add Grape-Nuts, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour over cooked spaghetti.
