Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. tomatoes, peeled and crushed
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, peeled and pressed
    1/4 c. fresh or 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 c. fresh or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 c. fresh or 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
    Cover and simmer for at least 1 hour.
    Serve over pasta.
    May use as a pizza sauce also.
    Yields 4 servings.
