The All American Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. boiling water
    1 large Jell-O (any red flavor)
    1 large berry blue Jell-O
    2 c. cold water
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    4 c. pound cake cubes
    2 c. sliced strawberries
Preparation
    Stir 2 cups boiling water into each flavor of Jell-O until dissolved.
    Stir 1 cup cold water into each.
    Pour into separate 13 x 9-inch pans.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Layer Jell-O, Cool Whip, cake and strawberries in a 3-quart serving dish.
