Gudgy'S Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter (or margarine)
    1 c. rice
    1 small onion
    1/2 bell pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder (or to taste)
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes with juice
    2 c. water (for rice)
Preparation
    Saute onion and bell pepper.
    When about done, add rice and saute slightly.
    Add other ingredients and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
