Sweet 'N Sour Pork - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. boneless pork chops or tenderloin, cut in pieces
2 Tbsp. oil
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (rounded slightly)
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 medium green pepper, cut in 1-inch sq. (optional)
Preparation

Brown pork strips in hot oil in large skillet.
Add onion pieces and water.
Cover and simmer approximately 20 minutes. Meanwhile, drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and salt.
Blend in juice, vinegar and soy sauce.
Add this to pork along with green pepper (if using green pepper).
Stir just until thickened and starts to bubble.
Add pineapple chunks to mixture.
Mix, by stirring.
Serves 4 over fried rice.
