Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cooled, baked shell
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    red food coloring
    1 pt. fresh strawberries
    4 Tbsp. dry strawberry gelatin
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water; cook until clear.
    Remove from
    heat, add a few drops of red food coloring and strawberry gelatin; stir well. Line shell with whole strawberries.
    Fill shell with cooked mixture.
    Place in refrigerator until quite thick.
    Serve topped with Cool Whip.
