Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    2 c. corn Niblets (about 1 can)
    1 c. diced, cooked potato
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon very crisp; crumble. Fry onion in bacon fat (or other).
    Combine all ingredients.
    Heat to just below boiling point and remain for a few minutes for flavor.
    Reheat to desired temperature and serve.
    Serves 6.
