Ranch Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. Bisquick
    1 c. chopped dates
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix 1 cup of brown sugar, water and butter and boil 5 minutes.
    Pour into 8-inch square pan.
    Mix 1 cup brown sugar, milk, Bisquick, dates, nuts and vanilla.
    Spoon batter on top of sugar mixture and bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream!
