Mother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter, softened
    6 eggs (at room temperature)
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter and cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well between each addition.
    Add flour and baking powder to cream mixture alternately with milk. Stir in extracts.
    Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
