Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening or 1 1/2 sticks margarine
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. milk
    3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Have everything at room temperature.
    Cream sugar and margarine.
    Beat eggs; add to sugar-margarine mixture along with vanilla and milk.
    Add flour, small amount at a time.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown around edge, 15 or 20 minutes.
    I use aluminum oven liners, greased.
    Drop by teaspoon, 20 cookies per sheet.
    Makes 80.
