Concie'S Favorite Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn (1 c. unpopped)
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil without stirring for 5 minutes on low. Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda and vanilla.
    Gradually pour over popcorn and mix well.
    Turn onto 2 large shallow baking pans. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Cool completely, break apart and store in covered can.
