Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Sift flour; beat eggs until light and thick.
    Add flour and 1/3 cup of the milk.
    Beat 30 seconds.
    Gradually add remaining milk and shortening, beating 1 to 2 minutes.
    Fill greased muffin pans a little less than 1/2 full.
    Bake in a hot oven (425\u00b0) about 40 minutes.
