Quick Trick Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. scalloped potato mix
    7 or 8 oz. canned minced clams, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In a large pan, combine potato mix, plus the water and milk called for on the package, clam liquid and onion.
    Heat until boiling.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Add clams, 2 1/2 cups milk and butter.
    Heat and serve.
