Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 apples, cut in eighths (peeled)
    1 c. oleo or butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Put apples in baking dish.
    Blend butter, flour, sugar and cinnamon.
    Work until crumbly, then pack tightly over apples.
    (If apples are dry, add 1 tablespoon water to them.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
