Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. corn meal
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; add the corn meal.
    Beat the eggs; add milk and melted shortening.
    Combine the two mixtures and pour into a greased baking pan and bake 35 minutes in a moderate oven at 400\u00b0.
