Chicken Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer
    1 lb. sausage
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    3/4 c. green onions, chopped
    1 can mushroom steak sauce
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour, dissolved in small amount of warm water
    red pepper to taste
    salt to taste
    garlic to taste
Preparation
    Boil fryer in salt water.
    Debone.
    Save broth.
    Fry deboned chicken until slightly brown.
    Fry sausage and drain.
    Add bell pepper and onions to sausage.
    Mix all meats and vegetables together and cover with 1-inch of broth.
    Add remaining ingredients, except rice.
    Cover and simmer until all vegetables are tender.
    Cook 3/4 cup rice.
    Mix rice with meat and vegetable mixture.
    Place in large casserole and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    It is better made the day before and put in refrigerator so seasoning can set.
    Serves 6 to 8.
