Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Fold in thawed strawberries, pecans, bananas and pineapple.
    Put half of mixture in dish and refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours.
    Leave other half at room temperature.
    Gently spread sour cream over refrigerated half; add the remaining mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve.
