Hard Candy(Cinnamon) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
    3 tsp. Lorann cinnamon flavor
    powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients in a large saucepan.
    Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
    Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310\u00b0 or until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    After boiling has ceased, very cautiously, stir in flavoring and coloring.
    Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet, topped with powdered sugar.
    Cool, break into pieces.
    Store in airtight containers.
    Makes more than two pounds.
