Cornmeal Dumplin'S - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
3 chopped onions (optional)
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 tsp. mustard
Preparation

Mix this
together
in\ta
bowl and pour in just enough boiling water to make a fairly stiff dough.
Wad in small flat pones and drop on top
of
cooked
turnip
greens.\tCover
and simmer.
