Beef Or Venison Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    2 lb. round steak (1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. beef bouillon
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and onion in 2 tablespoons of butter.
    Remove from pan.
    Remove fat and bone from steak.
    Cut into medium size chunks or strips.
    Melt additional 2 tablespoons of butter in pan. Toss meat pieces in flour.
    Coat thoroughly; brown in butter. Add salt and bouillon.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally, until meat is tender, about 1 1/4 hours.
    Add mushrooms, onion and sour cream.
    Heat.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
    Yields 6 servings.
