Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 heads dill (1/2 tsp. each)
1 clove garlic (1/8 tsp. minced)
1 hot pepper
1/8 tsp. powdered alum
1 grape leaf
1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
1 c. salt
Preparation

Place a grape leaf in bottom of each quart jar.
Fill with cucumbers.
Add the spices in each jar.
Boil the vinegar, water and salt.
Pour over cucumbers and spices.
Seal.
