Fried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large ripe tomatoes
    4 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Wash and slice tomatoes into 1/2-inch slices.
    Dredge thickly with flour.
    Fry in hot oil, browning well on both sides.
    Drain; place on serving dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add butter to pan fryings; blend in flour and add milk.
    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Pour over tomatoes and serve.
