Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 egg
    1/4 c. oil
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour 1/2 of the batter into 9 x 13 greased pan and bake 20 minutes.
    While cake bakes, unwrap the caramels.
    Melt caramels with 1/2 can Eagle Brand.
    Pour over the baked cake and sprinkle with pecans.
    Pour rest of batter over this and bake for about 20 minutes.
