American Pierogi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked elbow macaroni or egg noodles
    4 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
    1/4 lb. grated American or mild Cheddar cheese
    1 onion, diced and sauteed in water or butter
Preparation
    Grease casserole dish.
    Layer noodles, potatoes and cheese (mixed).
    Top with sauteed onions.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
