Fudge Cats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetend chocolate
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Grease 2 (8 x 8 x 2-inch) pans.
    In a double boiler, melt chocolate and shortening.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar and eggs; then flour, salt and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Pour into pans. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into 32 (2-inch) squares.
