Cranberry Nut Tea Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. whole cranberry sauce
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda and salt together.
    Add buttermilk, egg and cranberry sauce.
    Stir well; do not beat.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spoon batter into a well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
    Can be sliced, toasted and buttered or sliced and served with custard sauce or a \"dollop\" of whipped cream.
