Lime Jell-O Salad I - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O or any other flavor
    1 c. coconut
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
    1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Pour pineapple and its juice into saucepan and bring to boil. Remove from heat and stir in Jell-O until dissolved.
    Mix in coconut and buttermilk.
    Add pecans, if desired.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Pour into bundt pan or ring mold that has been sprayed lightly with cooking spray.
    Refrigerate until congealed.
