Curried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco oil
    2 1/3 to 3 lb. chicken pieces
    1 medium onion, diced fine
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can drained mushroom pieces
    3 whole cloves
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet.
    Brown chicken.
    Remove and set aside.
    Add onion, green pepper and mushroom to skillet; saute 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes (with liquid), curry powder, salt, garlic, cloves and Tabasco sauce.
    Return chicken pieces to skillet. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
    Serve with crusty bread and green salad.
