Pumpkin Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin (1/2 can for this and other 1/2 can for shallow 9-inch pie)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp. salt, ginger and nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 small box Jiffy cake mix (yellow)
    2 small pkg. pecan pieces
    1 stick butter or margarine
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except last 4 and pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Sprinkle cake mix on top, then nuts. Drizzle melted butter or margarine on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
    Before serving, top with Cool Whip.
    Makes 12 servings.
